I’ve been very busy lately and have not had much time to write…
April 8th was my daughters Senior Prom. She goes to a residential high school 2 hours away from home.
I made a hotel reservation in the historic area of the city that day and picked her up, along with 2 of her friends ,and brought them to the hotel to get ready. Afterwards, we took a walk and I took some shots. We had a lot of fun!
Remember, I still am very new to photography and I have so much left to learn. Before I go out and shoot, I do research and “study” up to prepare myself.
Since I was so busy prior to the Prom, I was not able to study like I wanted and I felt unprepared. It was full sun that day and it was a killer for me! If any experienced photographers are reading this, I’d appreciate tips on avoiding shadows on days like that!
The pics came out ok but I’m disappointed because I felt like I could ve done better if I would have had the time to prepare.
In any case, these are some of the best ones..
